HARRISBURG, PA: August 21, 2008-- Pittsburgh Terminals Corp., a Pennsylvania company, has discovered a possible malfunction in a valve that may have contaminated kerosene distributed between May 1, 2008 and August 19, 2008 in the following geographic areas:  all of western Pennsylvania; eastern Ohio; northern West Virginia; and the southwestern border of New York.

      THE KEROSENE MAY BE CONTAMINATED WITH GASOLINE, CREATING A RISK OF FIRE OR EXPLOSION. 

Anyone who purchased kerosene from a retailer within the geographic areas noted above and between May 1, 2008 and August 19, 2008 should not use the kerosene.  Instead, the kerosene should be returned immediately to the place of purchase for a full refund or replacement of the kerosene and the returned container.
