The West Virginia Tax Department needs your help. Please report any motor fuel sales where WV motor fuel taxes have not been paid.  Fuel taxes fund highway construction and maintenance in the State. Failure to pay WV motor fuel taxes causes the State to lose highway funding, jobs and roadway improvements. If you suspect a business or individual is not collecting or paying WV motor fuel taxes, call the WV Motor Fuel Enforcement Tip Line.
OMEGA to Host Underground Storage Tank Re-Certification Training Mar. 25-26 Print E-mail
Wednesday, 03/19/2008
The West Virginia Oil Marketers & Grocers Association will host an Underground Storage Tank Re-Certification Training Program from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25 and Wednesday, March 26 at the Charleston Civic Center, association representatives announced.

Jan Vineyard, President of OMEGA, said, “The training is open to everyone who works on underground storage tanks and will qualify as continuing education towards your license.”

Vineyard said individuals that work on underground storage tanks must be licensed and complete 16-hours of continuing education every two years. Each of the eight-hour trainings will re-certify Class A, B & C licenses.

The cost is $189 per day or $289 for both days for OMEGA members. The non-member fee is $239 per day or $339 for both days. Lunch will be provided for an additional $16.50 per day.

Tim Thickstun of Modern American Safety Training will provide the instruction.

For additional information, contact Jan Vineyard at (304) 343-5500.
